TRU Researchers Question the Role of Artistic Observation in a Scientific Education
Let’s face it, things can get pretty segregated between faculties of Science and faculties of Arts. But Ila Crawford (Fine Arts) and Lyn Baldwin (Biology) have proven that good things can happen when the disciplines come together. In a study that was recently published in the Journal of College Science Teaching, Baldwin and Crawford explore the benefits of providing drawing instruction to botany students.
